Discover the serene elegance of coastal Karnataka with our Periwinkle Breeze Udupi Saree. Handwoven on traditional Malabar Frame looms—an artisanal technique introduced nearly 150 years ago—this piece honors a history that master weavers have meticulously reclaimed. As a GI-tagged revival weave, every thread reflects the authentic heritage of the Dakshina Kannada region.

The body features a bold, open check pattern in periwinkle blue and white, creating a clean, effortlessly breezy aesthetic. The design is grounded by a sophisticated border featuring subtle mustard-gold and rust-brown stripes, adding warmth to the cool blue tones. The pallu carries the signature checks through, widening into elegant bands and finished with delicate fringe tassels.

Woven from fine 60s count cotton yarn, this saree is feather-light and exceptionally breathable. Crisp against the skin and airy to the touch, it is the perfect choice for professional office wear, casual outings, or staying cool on hot summer days.

Meet The Muse

Nayana Being daring at heart and working in the financial sector, I have always been ready to step beyond the usual and embrace new experiences.

Yet, my love for the saree remains unchanged—deeply emotional and rooted in tradition. To me, it’s more than just attire; it’s a feeling, a connection to my roots, and a reflection of grace in a modern life.

In those six yards, I find both strength and softness—a timeless piece of who I am.
