Product Details

Embrace the sophisticated warmth of coastal Karnataka with our Mocha Mist Udupi Saree. Handwoven on traditional Malabar Frame looms—a heritage technique introduced to the Dakshina Kannada region nearly 150 years ago by the Basel Mission—this GI-tagged revival textile perfectly balances historical artistry with modern functional elegance.

The body features a deep, smoky plum-brown plain weave, beautifully scattered with delicate white woven buttis that offer an understated, timeless texture. The pallu makes a vibrant, contrasting statement, opening into vivid multicolour horizontal stripes of mustard yellow, red, orange, and white. Adorned with larger woven butti motifs and finished with hand-cut fringe tassels in plum and grey, it is a piece designed for the discerning individual.

Woven using premium 60s count cotton yarn for both warp and weft, this handloom saree is feather-light, breathable, and beautifully crisp against the skin. It remains perfectly structured for the Indian tropical climate, making it an essential choice for professional office wear, daytime casual affairs, and staying effortlessly cool on warm summer days.
