Every saree carries a story - from the loom to your doorstep. We're here to help you find answers about fabrics, care, sizing, and everything in between.

What is Bhujodi weaving?

Bhujodi is a traditional handloom craft originating from the Kutch region of Gujarat, famous for its intricate geometric patterns and the use of natural, sustainable fibers like organic Kala cotton.

What is Kala cotton?

Kala cotton is an indigenous, organic, and rain-fed cotton species from Kutch, considered one of the most sustainable fabrics because it requires no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers to grow.

How are Bhujodi sarees typically finished?

Bhujodi sarees are often finished with distinct, hand-crafted details such as elaborate crochet-lace edges and multicolour pom-pom or tassel fringes, which add a festive and artisanal touch.

How do I care for a handwoven Bhujodi saree?

Because of the intricate hand-embroidered work, natural dyes, and delicate fringe finishes, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended to ensure the longevity and vibrancy of the saree.
