Product Details

Experience the classic, grounded elegance of coastal Karnataka with our Bottle Green Check Udupi Saree. Handwoven on traditional Malabar Frame looms—a heritage technique introduced to the Dakshina Kannada region nearly 150 years ago—this GI-tagged piece is a testament to the master weavers who continue to uphold this historic craft.

The body features a rich bottle green woven with crisp white checks running across the entire length, offering a timeless, structured aesthetic that transitions effortlessly from morning meetings to evening gatherings. The design is framed by a wide, clean off-white border accented with thin mustard-gold pinstripes, providing a warm contrast to the lush green. The pallu transitions elegantly into a cream base with mirroring gold-stripe detailing, finished with delicate white and green fringe tassels.

Woven using fine 60s count cotton yarn, this saree is feather-light, breathable, and remarkably crisp against the skin. Perfectly suited for the Indian tropical climate, it is an essential choice for daily office wear, casual outings, and staying effortlessly comfortable during hot summer days.

Meet The Muse

Nayana Being daring at heart and working in the financial sector, I have always been ready to step beyond the usual and embrace new experiences.

Yet, my love for the saree remains unchanged—deeply emotional and rooted in tradition. To me, it’s more than just attire; it’s a feeling, a connection to my roots, and a reflection of grace in a modern life.

In those six yards, I find both strength and softness—a timeless piece of who I am.
