Product Details

Woven by master weavers on traditional pit looms in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, this grey half-and-half Kanjivaram silk saree is a study in contrast and elegance. The saree body transitions from a cool silver-grey to a rich maroon pallu — a dramatic half-and-half design unique to the Kanjivaram tradition.

Pure mulberry silk threads are interlaced with real gold zari, creating the characteristic weight and lustrous sheen that no powerloom can replicate. Each saree takes 3–7 days on the loom and represents the accumulated skill of generations of Kanchipuram weaving families.

At Seere, every Kanjivaram is personally sourced from the weaving families, verified for authenticity, and priced ethically — so your purchase directly supports the artisan who created it.
