Resist-dyeing technique is used to create a soft, mottled texture on the saree which is unique to Bagru prints. Each motif is printed using hand-carved wooden blocks, giving the saree its authentic artisanal appeal. The pallu is visually rich yet understated. It is striking in its unique design style – a big brown circle in the middle of the contrasting beige base. The design is further enhanced by broad brown panel that frames the edge of the pallu.
